The HI subs included in the release (which I presume were sourced from TUBI) leave a lot... a whole lot! ...to be desired.
I've ventured to create much, much improved non-HI subtitles for this film.
Using the aforementioned subs as a starting point, I've given the subs a MAJOR - and, I must say, quite time-consuming - overhaul.
First, I removed HI-descriptions along with interjections unneeded for non-HI subs (and resynced lines originally containing a mix of HI and non-HI accordingly).
Then I went through every single line, correcting the sync line-by-line, correcting wrongly transcribed and adding missing dialogue (to the best of my ability), correcting typos and grammar, ran the subs through a US English spellcheck, correcting line breaks, merged certain lines, broke up other lines, and generally just made the subs "nicer" to look at (according to my own liking).
In spite of my very best efforts, I can't guarantee 100% perfection - actually, with the sheer amount of flaws in the original subtitles, I'd be surprised if a flaw or two hasn't slipped through the cracks. Still, I think it's safe to say that these non-HI subs are a major improvement - and I hope that some of you might find them useful.
They're synced to fit the 720p and 23.976fps WEB-DL with a runtime of 01:27:25.
