As the extended version of the film, included on the US blu-ray release by Severin Films as a bonus, isn't subtitled, I've based these subs on my own OCR of the English SDH PGS subs for the regular version on the same disc.
After the OCR, I gave the resulting subs a thorough going-over.
First, I resynced the subtitles for this different version of the film with extended scenes and rougher reel transitions.
Then I removed HI-descriptions along with interjections unneeded for non-HI subs and non-diegetic lyrics.
After that, I merged lines and corrected line breaks; fixed OCR errors; reworded instances of Severin's mistranscribed dialogue (but probably not all); added instances of missing dialogue within Severin's transcription (but probably not all); and, to the best of my abilities, did my own transcription of the added dialogue.
Finally, I ran the subtitles through a US English spellcheck.
In general, I've made the subs "nicer" to look at (according to my own liking).
I have yet to do an ACTUAL casual watch of the film from beginning to end with these subs playing, so I can't guarantee 100% that some flaws haven't slipped through the cracks (I will go back and update the file if I find any at a later date).
However, I hope that some of you might still find these subs useful.
The subtitles are synced to fit the 23.976fps blu-ray release of the film's extended version with a runtime of 01:33:10.
